We’re hiring a Director of Product Design to lead the design function at a fast-growing AI-powered 3D/spatial computing SaaS company. This is a hands-on leadership role spanning design vision, team building, and deep craft work across a complex product surface — from a 3D scene editor to AI-assisted creation workflows, enterprise dashboards, and consumer AR experiences.
You’ll own design strategy end-to-end: defining UX for AI-native interaction patterns (handling uncertainty, latency, and generative outputs), building and evolving a scalable design system, and setting the bar for craft across the team. You’ll hire and mentor designers and researchers, run design reviews, and champion a culture of rigor and user advocacy.
This role also requires strong cross-functional partnership — co-owning roadmap decisions with Product Management, working closely with Engineering on feasibility and implementation quality, and communicating design rationale to executive and enterprise stakeholders.
Ideal candidates have 7+ years of product design experience with 2+ years in design leadership, deep UX methodology expertise, mastery of Figma and modern prototyping tools, and experience designing complex technical or data-rich products. Experience with 3D/WebGL, AR/VR, or AI-native product design is a strong plus.
