Most fresher portfolios look the same: the same food delivery app, the same three screens, the same mockup. A recruiter has seen that project fifty times already.
What they actually want to see is how you think: the problem you picked, what you found out, and why your final screens look the way they do.
In this free live cohort, you’ll build one real e-commerce project from scratch. You’ll create your own niche Indian D2C brand, do your own research, and make your own Figma prototype, guided live from start to finish, the way it happens in a real design studio.
What you’ll walk away with
- Your own e-commerce product. A brand you chose and researched yourself, different from every other student’s.
- A clickable Figma prototype of a complete shopping flow: browse, product page, cart, checkout.
- A case study structure ready to publish on Behance, your own site or Notion.
- A confident answer to “Walk me through your process”, because you actually lived it.
- A certificate of completion for your LinkedIn and portfolio.
How it runs
Day 1: Research with AI. Pick your brand, understand its customer, and use AI tools to research faster than most working designers do.
Day 2: Structure and wireframes. Turn your research into user flows and wireframes for the full shopping journey.
Day 3: UI and prototype. Design the final screens and leave with a clickable prototype.
Each session is live, [2.5 hours], with a short homework brief between days and live feedback on real student work.
What you’ll need
- A laptop with a stable internet connection
- A free Figma account
- Basic Figma skills (frames, components, auto layout)
- Your full attention for three mornings
This is for you if
- You’re a fresher, or you’ve finished a UI/UX course and haven’t landed a design job yet
- You’ve never worked on a real project with a real brief
- You know basic Figma and want to see how an experienced designer actually works
This is not for you if
- You’re looking for a job guarantee. Nobody honest can give you one. This gives you the project that gets you taken seriously.
- You can’t attend live. The value is in the live feedback.
- You already have two or more real client projects in your portfolio.
