“Despite the title, this is instructional design (courses, job aids and knowledge-base articles for a customer-complaints team), not product content design, so no role family fits. Hybrid with 3 office days a week.”

Job Description

So, who are we?
The company is a large, listed global fintech serving a large international customer base and handling billions of dollars in transactions. Innovation is core to how it operates, which means genuinely complex problems to solve, the technology and resources to tackle them properly, and scope that’s rare in established businesses.

The bar is high – bring a curious and forward-thinking mindset and we’ll give you the platform to define what comes next.

Join the company – the future gets built here.

Your team
The company’s Training & Knowledge Management team designs and delivers knowledge and training content that enables the company move at pace. Our work spans everything from strategic needs analysis and information design to digital builds and in-person deliveries. We move fast, adapt to what the business needs, and are not afraid to challenge the brief when there’s a better way. Everything we do is grounded in close partnership with our operational stakeholders, because the best outcomes happen when L&D and the business transform and build together.

This is hands-on design and builds work. You will own projects end to end, manage your own workload, and work closely with operational stakeholders and subject matter experts across multiple locations. If you thrive on variety, take pride in making complex information genuinely useful, and want your work to have an immediate, measurable impact, this is the role for you.

We are looking for two Instructional Designers to join our Bangalore team and get stuck in from day one.

Your role in the Team’s Success
These roles sit at the heart of a live, scaling CX operation. The company’s customer servicing function is undergoing transformative change — new starters are joining regularly, task coverage is expanding, specialist roles are being developed, and we are transforming our existing training infrastructure accordingly. You will be building that infrastructure: task-based courses, job aids, knowledge base articles, and process content that new starters can move through quickly and agents can reference in the flow of work.

What you’ll do
– Design and build task-based training content for a live CX complaints handling operation — courses, job aids, knowledge base articles, process maps, and more
– Work with subject matter experts and operational stakeholders to gather input, structure content, and iterate quickly as the function scales
– Build reusable content that reduces per-hire training time and reduces reliance on experienced agents absorbing new starters informally
– Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing pace with quality
– Make the most of our tech stack to create the best solution for each need (we use Miro, Claude, Easygenerator, LearnUpon, SharePoint, and more)

What you’ll need
– 3–5 years in instructional design with a solid foundation in learning theory and content structuring
– Hands-on experience building a range of content types — digital courses, job aids, reference materials, process documentation
– Strong writing skills: you can take complex operational material and make it clear and usable for people in different roles and contexts
– Comfort working at pace in a live operational environment where priorities can shift
– Self-directed project ownership — from needs analysis through to delivery, evaluation, and iteration
– Experience working with stakeholders across locations, time zones, and functional teams

The Perks
It really is more than a job. We think like a start-up, but we deliver like a large listed company — so the bar is high, and we won’t pretend otherwise. We work hybrid, which means three days in the office. We’ll recognize your talent and make sure that you can still have a life – at work, and outside of it. Networks, committees, awards, sports and social clubs, mentorships, volunteering opportunities, extra time off… the list goes on.
