UI/UX Designer

Role summary: The UI/UX Designer shapes how business users, reviewers, and executives work with AI and data products, from conversational prompt experiences to evidence-based review workspaces and multi-tier dashboards.
Experience: 4 to 7 years in product or UX design, with a portfolio of enterprise, data-heavy, or B2B applications.
Key responsibilities
– Run user research with personas such as analysts, data stewards, reviewers, functional leads, and executives.
– Map persona journeys and end-to-end task flows for each user tier.
– Design conversational and prompt-driven interfaces, including chat, routing, and agent response patterns.
– Design reviewer workspaces that show AI findings with evidence, rationale, confidence, and recommended action.
– Design human-in-the-loop interactions: accept, reject, edit, escalate, and comment capture.
– Design dashboards and scorecards at different altitudes (executive summary, detailed, standard reporting) with clear status, trend, and exception views.
– Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI in Figma.
– Create and maintain a component library and design system aligned with client brand standards.
– Run usability tests with real users and iterate designs from findings.
– Prepare developer handoff specs and support front-end engineers (React) during build and UAT.
Required skills
– Strong UX process: research, information architecture, interaction design, and usability testing.
– Expert in Figma (or similar) for wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
– Data visualization and dashboard design for complex, data-dense content.
– Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and responsive design.
– Clear storytelling to present design rationale to business and executive stakeholders.
– Working knowledge of front-end constraints, especially React component patterns.
Preferred skills
– Experience designing for GenAI or agentic products: conversational UX, explainability, trust, and confidence cues.
– Design for regulated or audit-heavy workflows (review, approval, compliance, governance).
– Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and their design conventions.
– Life sciences or healthcare domain exposure.
– Basic HTML/CSS or prototyping in code.
